This practice is designed to help you release stuck energy, clear mental fog, and open up pathways to profound peace and clarity. It’s a powerful way to awaken your inner medicine woman, tap into your inherent power, and connect deeply with the healing medicines within you.

This session offers a peek into the transformative medicines I share in my courses and retreats, designed to help you deeply connect with yourself and navigate life's ups and downs with ease and grace. My journey with breathwork began at a critical time in my life. I was dealing with overwhelming stress and anxiety, searching for solutions beyond what conventional approaches offered. Breathwork has worked magic for me and I am confident it will for you too.

Before you begin: Create a cozy, quiet space for yourself. Have a soft blanket nearby in case you get cold. Try not to eat heavy meals at least an hour before your session.

Important: While breathwork is a safe practice for most people, it's very powerful and may not be suitable for everyone. If you have concerns about cardiovascular issues, severe mental health conditions, or if you are pregnant, consider breathing through your nose instead and opt for a guided 1:1 session initially. This will ensure you feel secure and supported as you embark on this healing journey. If you're unsure, it's wise to consult with your healthcare provider before beginning.

My Breathwork Story - How Breathwork Changed My Life

My true breakthrough with breathwork came unexpectedly during a date on a beach in Orange County. The person I was with introduced me to transformational breathwork. That session on the sand was a revelation: for the first time, my relentless mind chatter paused. I felt a profound connection to my heart and body, experiencing pure relaxation and bliss. Although the connection with him was brief, it left me with the incredible gift of breathwork- Forever grateful!!

Since that day, about seven years ago, I've made breathwork a daily part of my life. It’s transformed me from a burnt-out fashion industry professional to someone living a dream life, running healing retreats in my forest sanctuary in Sweden and building a community in Guatemala. This practice showed me how powerful and healing breath can be, and I’m passionate about sharing it. With breathwork, I believe we all have the capacity to radically change our lives—it all starts with returning to the basics of our breath.

    YES absolutely. We start from the basics and everyone is welcome.
  • What is Transformational Breathwork?
    Transformational Breathwork is a powerful practice that combines a specific circular (open-mouth) breathing technique with mindfulness and clear intention. Its goal? To spark deep healing, release emotional blockages, and expand your consciousness- I highly recommend that you come to any of my group sessions in person or online or book a private session with me before signing up on this training if you have never tried Breathwork before- so you know what you are signing up for.

It's like a release valve for trauma and built-up energy, offering a refreshing sense of balance in your mind, body, and spirit. Deep diaphragmatic breathing breathes life into your body, increasing oxygenation, helps with detoxification, and improving respiratory function. Tensions are released, circulation improves, and your immune system gets a boost. But this is just the icing on the cake! Transformational Breathwork is my go-to for releasing limiting beliefs and thought patterns that doesn't serve me anymore. I have my daily breathwork practice to thank for who and where I am today - it has paved the way for my journey so far.

    Absolutely, YES! Let me share this with you: Transformational Breathwork has become a dear friend on my journey to reduce stress and anxiety. It's all about the power of intentional, deep breathing-it's like lighting a serene candle within. And the beauty? That calm doesn't just stay in your breath; it spreads throughout your entire being. Your nervous system gets the memo, and a calm invitation takes hold. Tensions? They begin to dissolve. Emotions? They find harmony. And the best part? After each session, I'm wrapped in a comforting cocoon of peace. It's like finding silence after a cleansing rain. I just love this practice SO much!
  • What are the possible risks or effects of Transformational Breathwork?
    In general, Transformational Breathwork is safe. However, it's important to begin with a skilled and experienced facilitator who can skillfully guide the process - like myself. Some people may experience physical sensations, emotional releases, or a slight feeling of lightheadedness during the practice. Respecting your body's signals is key, and don't hesitate to share any concerns with your facilitator. Remember, you're the captain of the ship. You decide how deep you want to sail. You're your own guide, and you hold the reins of depth and speed. If things ever feel a little overwhelming, slowing your breathing or returning to gentle nasal breathing is your retreat to calm.
  • Can transformational breathwork be combined with other healing approaches?
    Definitely! Transformational breathwork forms a harmonious partnership with various therapeutic modalities. Think of it blending seamlessly with practices like cacao-infused sessions, sound healing, yoga, meditation, reiki, or bodywork.
  • Will I be able to teach Breathwork after a Breathwork Certification?
    After this training you will definitely have all the knowledge you need to teach Breathwork in a safe way. Often what holds us back from teaching is experience, lack of confidence and a blocked throat chakra. This is why I incorporate that all students who want to get certified and hold space for larger groups of people to hold a minimum of 10 classes for friends, family, community to start gathering the confidence and courage to hold space - this is how I teach - I am all about embodied learning.
  • Are there any scientific studies that support the effectiveness of Transformational Breathwork?
    To this date, scientific research specifically focused on this breathwork technique is relatively limited. However, my belief in the power of personal experience and heartfelt testimonials is my science - they truly highlight the remarkable benefits of Transformational Breathwork. While research is still in its early stages, there's a growing body of evidence exploring the physiological and psychological effects of conscious breathing. This growing body of knowledge underscores the power of breathwork as a holistic path to wellness and healing- Just try it for yourself is my recommendation.
  • Is Transformational Breathwork suitable for everyone, or are there any considerations?
    Transformational Breathwork is generally well suited for most people. However, it's important to be aware of certain factors. For example, if you're pregnant, have certain respiratory conditions, cardiovascular concerns, or a history of certain psychological disorders, it's wise to consult your healthcare provider before beginning a breathwork practice. Full transparency about any pre-existing conditions or concerns is essential to ensure a safe and customized experience. For those with asthma, it's a good idea to have your inhaler close by. Now, if you're dealing with PTSD, my suggestion is to consider a 1:1 session with me or another experienced trauma healing practitioner before delving into this training.​
  • Can Transformational Breathwork help with physical problems or chronic pain?
    Absolutely, YES! Transformational Breathwork can be a true ally in promoting physical wellness. It's like a gentle massage for your body's energy, releasing tension and improving oxygen flow. What's really fascinating is how it awakens your body's natural self-healing abilities. Believe me, whenever I'm dealing with pain or discomfort, Breathwork is my first choice - and it always works wonders.
  • What food will we eat at our Breathwork training?
    I am all about healthy, clean food with as local and organic ingredients as possible. I work with some magical chefs and food is always a bit different depending on season and theme of the retreat but rest assure the food is always magical and if any allergies or special requests just let me know in advance. Normally we have tea, smoothie or light meal in the morning to not be full for our morning breathwork practice, then a more heavy meal for lunch and yummy soup and bread for dinner.
  • How will we sleep during our Breathwork training in Sweden?
    I have different houses, rooms and glamping tents and you can make a request upon booking and availability.​ Private room are available for added charge.
  • Is financial assistance available for your breathwork training?
    I offer payment plans and I also love trades so if you have anything to offer let me know and we can talk about it. Skills like marketing, video, photography, bodywork etc is all welcome.
